Spring / Summer 2026

 This was a very special issue to work on for a variety of reasons, and I hope you all enjoy reading the issue as much as I have from these fantastic poets.  First and foremost, an enormous thanks to Patrick Connors, Anna Nieminen and Jeevan Bhagwat, Co-facilitators of the Scarborough Poetry Club,  who contacted many of their writers, members and friends to contribute to the Spring / Summer 2026 Issue which has made it all the more successful.  I'm pleased to present work by Paul Edward Costa (2019-2021 Poet Laureate for the City of Mississauga), Mostofa Haque, Natalie Fraser, Patrick Connors, Amit Karda, David Rayburn, Ayesha Bhatti, Dr. Mou Modhubontee, Mansour Noorbakhsh, and Honey Novick.  Also in this edition is a tribute to the poet Noor Rahim, who passed away this July. Fall / Winter 2025 LIVE

 Fresh poems from Patrick Connors, Honey Novick and Bradley McIlwain. With the return art focus on Chris Fleet's works and his exploration of: The Elder Gods. Two reviews also grace this issue of Gail Murray's new poetry collection, "Reflections and Reveries" by Liz Torlee, and the novel, "On Isabella Street" by Canadian author Genevieve Graham, reviewed by Gail Murray. SUMMER 2024 Editors Note

This issue was completed with special thanks to my guest editor, poet, philosopher and singer-songwriter Justin Paul, who also provided the cover photo! It was with his hard work and passion that inspired me to put together an incredibly special issue. I'm grateful and indebted to him (especially for our conversations about poetics and the alchemy of the unconscious). It's times like this, I think the act of poetry might be the universal solvent in creating the Philosophers Stone. In our eighth issue, I have the privilege (and honour) of including Sergeant Robert MacLaren's poem, A Lament, where he openly shares himself and his search after his experiences as a veteran of the US Air Force after the Vietnam War. It was during my time as an undergraduate at Trent University, while I was researching a paper on Canadians in Vietnam, his daughter, Heather, was generous to share her father's original photos, medals, and memories from his time there. We are looking for poems (1-10, any length) short stories (up to 1,200 words), photography (1-5 pictures, or photo essays), book reviews (500 words), and creative non-fiction (up to 2,000 words) by January 15th.
